Did the Engine ECU temp sensors change depending on year (vin) or will any Green one work?
I've just replaced thermostat, pump, brown sensor and the Green sensor ECU, but the glow plugs still come on when the engine is hot.!
I've looked everywhere and cant find any 'hotfix' anywhere, so presumably can only be a wrong or faulty ECU sensor, could it a missplaced wire ? I need to know so that when I get to setting up the FIP properly it wont be sabotaged by a 'hidden hot fix' or faulty sensor. On the nano it reads "injecteur out side of range" or something like that. I cant think it's a good idea to run the car with the ECU believing the engine is cold. The Nano shows the correct temperature, how does it know, from the Bcem?
