My 67 runs sbove the mormal ive flushed the rad changed the stat adjusted the mixture it runs nice !! But very warm

help!!!!!

What do you call normal and how are you measuring the coolant temperature?

Cheap laser temp sensor off ebay, to confirm your gauge is in fact telling the truth, 6 quid!

Im only going by tbe gauge , ive flushed it replaced the stat what temp should the colant be ?

Stat starts to open at 82c think it's fully open at 88 but not sure

Have you had the car long?
Has it always run at this temperature?
Fixed steel fan still fitted?
Is the fan fitted the correct way?
