When I bought my new pride and joy, one of the little foibles was the horns didn't work for some reason.
As the steering wheel was 'past it's best', I decided I'd just bite the bullet and pay Ebay a visit.
A few days later, and wallet considerably lighter, I am the proud owner of a steering wheel, with two horn buttons, cruise control, and the cruise dash button to match. Hooray !!
NOT SO FAST.......
Why is there a piece of paper behind that left button?
Why isn't the button springing back?
Well obviously that's because the SPRING that holds the button forwards, and the two contacts apart is missing. Now, both springs, and top half of contact switches were missing off my 'old' wheel as well, so I can't reuse those...
which leads me to my question....
Does anyone know where I can buy the right size spring from please, without spending £78 on a new pair of horn buttons?
