Nearly finished 95% complete, just the electrics and a few other little issues then, ready for the next project.

Wish I could take the credit, but work was carried out by Oakfields Land Rover at Thornaby, www.oakfieldslandrover.co.uk as I have been out the country most the time with work.

I didn't want every panel straight, I still wanted some character to the car.

They are doing the electrics, as the loom is shot, a couple of touch up bits, then the engine detailing.

It took a lot more work than I expected but I feel it has been definitely worth the money. Just the grim factor alone.

I am now looking at get them to put a galvansied chassis on my 1979 Station Wagon (chassis and bulkhead complete shot) and either installing a 3.9 with disco running gear, or disco running gear with 300TDi, but keeping the classic Series 3 look. Will update when I have more details, just ideas on the drawing board at the moment.

I am also looking at two Sereis 2a recovery trucks with Harvey frost, but there require complete rebuild, if I go with these and the Galv project I may have to sell this one or my MGB GT.

Have a look on www.mikestoys.co.uk for more details.
