Hiya!
Any advice on where I can get a brake failure warning valve, and a 7/16 male brake pipe union? I have got a 1970 series 2a which I took off the road last July to rebuild. I took it down to the chassis and have since fitted a V8 and RR axles (all round discs!). I have fitted a series 3 servo, and a dual system master cylinder and the connection plug on it states 7/16 but i can't seem to get one. I also am after a brake failure warning valve but Land Rover want £90 so they can kiss that one! Worse case I will just fit a couple of 3 way pipe connectors but it would be nice to have one of these - but not at that price!!! Also, where the clutch master cylinder sits to the right of the bell housing, it currently hits the conversion plate and so will not go onto the 3 studs. Before I hack a hole in the bracket to "make it fit" has anyone had a similar problem and if so how did they get over it?
There is light at the end of the tunnel - or at least I keep telling myself that!?
Thanks for any advice you can give.
