I was a bit bored so I thought I would check out how many vehicles were still on the road from a Land Rover mag from 1998, this was when I purchased mine. Out of 25 vehicles in that edition only one was still taxed as of yesterday. Some of the vehicles were new Freelander's and cars uprated by Jeremy Fearn.
Mine is still as good as the day I purchased it, a Range Rover Classic 3.5 Vogue.

depending on your boredom level, you could also check their Mot history !!
Not withstanding the (very) thinly disguised **** take It was interesting looking at the magazine and the record of how many vehicles were still on the road from the article. And yes I did look at the Mot history and it gave various reasons why some of the vehicles are not on the road anymore.

Sad but interesting anyway.
Do you use Sayers at Bedfont?

Not completely related but a person i know inherited £15K when their mum died and at the same time was offered a chance to buy their council house for £15K but instead bought a second hand freelander.
As they didn't work and knew nothing about cars the freelander was dead within 18 months due to a total lack of maintenance or understanding of what they were buying.
The current value of the council house now is around £210K but is still owned by the council....
Not sure what the moral of the story iso_O
