The bit of Devon i lives in gets a fair whack of snow and ice... tonight the roads are slippy as hell after a dollop of snow....
The drifters and wahnkahs come slinging around and getting stuck in their vauxhalls, Beemers and Audis... and tonight there are more bleddy 90 pickups and Discos than is altogether necessary... all over the bleddy road!
Anyway, I sat there in me little Hippo chatting with a young fella and his mates in a tricked out disco at the top of a hill watching the tratterers making right tits of themselves 4 wheel sliding and generally unable to drive down a slippery hill without running off the road.
MT tyres and snorkel dunt help yer drive on moorland roads in snow and ice. Some half decent rubber on a Hippo with TC and HDC was the right mixture.... and no mistake.
Having said that, there were some nice young people in 90s and 4WDs who had come up just to see the snow and have have laugh with their mates - that was really nice to see
