I replaced the cat and downpipe on my '99 1.8 petrol freelander. Started the engine and the revs sat over 2k. Thought it might just be the choke but it stayed high even after warming up. Gave the throttle a tickle and it coughed slightly and the revs stayed higher than 1500. Played with the throttle, reving up to 3500 and letting go and it coughs on the way up and stays high. Any ideas?
