Hi! Total newbie here!

I'm 22, and have longed for a Defender. When my mate put his Tomb Raider edition up for sale, I latched on and about a month in, I'm loving it, despite all the money I'm pumping into it to fix things here and there and to make it mine, in the 21st century. I'm a bit rubbish with technical information, and have no skills in taking it apart to fit even the most basic of parts, (I'm a Cartographer in the Military so my mind is not wired that way). But I'm keen to learn bits of self maintenance and I'm willing to take hints and tips from those willing to share the wealth of knowledge behind these machines.

Cartographer? Well, you'll have no problem understanding where some green lanes go!

Nope, she's a he! The name Lara Croft is in relation to my Defender Tomb Raider Edition! Sorry to be such a menace early on! But yeah, if anyone needs a map, need only to ask and I will endeavour to take an order, work permitting!!
