Hi All,

Just thought I would drop a message introducing myself. I am currently in the market for my first Land Rover and am busy doing my research!!!!

I am in Leicester and a group of 5 of us are starting 'proper' off roading!!! Out of the 5 I am the only one not having my Land Rover yet but hopefully this will change within the next few months.

So any advice etc is very welcome!!!!

Well hopefully on Saturday afternoon, I will have my Land Rover.

Bought a 1986 2.5 N/A 90, just having her checked out on Saturday morning before parting with the readies!!!

115,000 miles on the clock and re-sprayed last year in dark pearlescent Purple. But appears in excellent shape.

Looks a little basic at the moment, but have bought the following ready :-

Full Checker plate kit
Headlamp grills
New 16" wheels with 265 75 16 Grizzly Claw Tyres
New Steering Guard
Clear Light set
Complete Defender 90 Badge set
Complete Defender Body Graphics

I know it is not really a Defender, but I don't like the '90' graphics so thought, what the hell!!!
