Hi there folks,
I have been driving Land Rovers since 1980 - I passed my test in a Series 2A 109 D - it took a while to drive about in it.
I now have a 03 Discovery TD5 which I have had for about 12 years. It was put out to grass, parked up on the garden and only used for the odd trip. However, as my car has eaten it's turbos, I have been using the trusty Discovery every day for a week or so.
Question. I have noticed a 'Wha Wha Wha' noise in time with the wheels turning. It seems a little louder when the steering is turned but can be heard in a straight line. It is most noticeable at slower speeds, but that could just be the absence of wind noise. The old girl has done 150,000 miles.
Any clues?
