I'm hoping someone can help me my '10 RR Vogue SE 3.6 V8 has gone into the garage for the alternator which caught fire the other day. Unfortunately its melted the multiplug and Landrover have said that it would need a new wiring harness at £1200. This seems crazy as they only need the plug surely there is some sort of repair kit. Could anyone tell me whether the plug is on this part https://www.lrisolutions.co.uk/lr012389.html LR012389. The garage that are doing the repair said they could use this if it is on the it but I can't find any information. They are having an auto electrician look at it tomorrow if I can't source a part.
