I bought a 2016 landrover discovery 4 on Sunday and came accross this forum whilst looking for answers to a problem I've already encountered.
I bought a disco that had a bad battery and needed a booster pack to start. It started twice off the booster and drove like a dream the 30 miles home.
I tried to start it in the morning and nothing so I took the battery off and put it on charge only to find the battery wouldn't take a charge.
I pit a new battery on it and it won't even turn over. I've replaced the earth strap that goes from the chassis to the body under the o/s front wheel arch, I've had the starter off and tested and that's ok. I've put a jump lead from the negative connection to the engine and still nothing it just clicks, the brake pedal swith appear to be working, starter motor relays have been checked and are all OK.
I've read alot of similar posts on here and tried most of the things suggested.
Any advice would be great.
