HI all, just bought a RR Classic 300 TDI, Niagara Grey, Vogue SE, love it. 140K and going strong.

I'll post in the RR forum - wondering anyone has dealt with a driver's seat that slides ever so slightly - couple of mm - when braking. Sitting stationary I can rock it with my body weight, but not by hand when I get out. It's a Classic RR Vogue SE, leather elec adjustment with the 2 position memory. FWIW the rake adjustment doesn't work but all other electrics fine.

Looking forward to some outdoor meets over the summer, and any insights on teh seat gratefully received! cheers

cheers beast - nice quote you've got there!
some more info...

  • air susp replaced with coils, new shocks and anti-roll bars at same time
  • auto box, crisp kickdown
  • new prop shaft, alternator
  • two small holes to weld (sill, arch), then will waxoyl
  • cold aircon
  • brighter lamps - wipac i think
  • all elecs work, except front driving lamps, corroded - will replace
  • amusingly the upper rear tailgate pops up on the left - always used to on the right when I wer a lad - must be the Lib Dem effect
I'm fitting a decat downpipe, and probably a bigger intercooler. Cruises well but from a standing start v sluggish until the revs wind up - normal I guess? She's a daily driver, and will do some green laning maybe. Will be using her to tow my trail bike to rural parts

learnt to drive in a V8 'hose me out' 3 door, always loved 'em
