Hi from hereford

After re-building a series 3 in 1995 I have now aquired a 1969 Lighweight, I use the Lighweight a lot and would like to make it more user friendly, I fitted CP parabolics but not over impressed with the ride. I had thought of a coil 'designer chassis' with 200 TDI descovery as a donar vehicle for running gear, but I think this would put me on the line with the 'historic' class can anyone advise many thanks.
