Hi Everyone
Found myself viewing the forum quite often of late so thought it was about time I registered and contributed or at least participated.
So I live in Guernsey CI and run my own Tree Surgery Business, My fleet consists of two 300 TDI Defenders, One of which made the Readers Land rovers article in LRM a while back (My one claim to fame). I'm about to purchase a 130 tipper again a 300 TDI, so I will then have the full set.
110 Defender CSW in Epsom Green 1996
My goal is to slowly retire the 110 from work and turn this into a really tidy CSW, she's sitting on a Marsland Chassis bulkhead needs some welding and then in the future replacement and she could benefit from a full set of new doors but apart from that she's all there, still running the BOGE suspension system (Although we have the parts to replace this with the later style fulcrum and heavy duty shocks and standard Dampers. She's currently on 155K and smokes like Dot Cotton when cold, bit of a misfire also that clears once she's hit boost, then the smoke is very intermittent so thinking injectors perhaps? Since I've owned it Dec 2024 she's had a Rad, New Falken Mud Terrains on white wolfs, full exhaust system including De-Cat, EGR Delete, Belt was done in October 2024, new steering wheel and slim line boss and a new Tow Hitch.

So the apple of my Eye my Truck cab 90! Bought this in October 2023 had 52K on the clock from new. What a bargain I thought years of trouble free motoring!! Not quite, first six months saw this list being carried out, New T Belt, New Water Pump, New Clutch, EGR delete, De Cat pipe, New Swivel and Bearings on Left hand front wheel, New Battery and new Starter motor, Steering wheel and slim line boss (I need every bit of space in a truck cab I'm 6'4".... changed the wheels to black modulars, She's waiting on a new fuel tank and be due another service soon, still sitting on her original chassis and at the mo apart from some previous welding on the rear x member she's doing ok. Early this year saw the new Canopy go on from N&J absolute game changer for the business (Before this I had the IFOR back, bit kit was soaking all the time.

Buying this one in the next couple of weeks, it needs work how much I'm not sure... swivels for sure and steering bars, idler pulley iOS noisy but had a belt and clutch in 2023. Ill keep everyone updated on this over the coming months...
