Hi all, just bought my first disco today for the princely sum of £580.
It's not perfect as you can imagine but it runs well and is not too rusty.
As for me the only 4wd I have had before was an early Fourtrak so the disco is almost luxury in comparison, I have worked as a mechanic on mechanical handling equipment a few years ago including everything from small vans to 40 ton cranes. I share a workshop with a couple of mates which is fairly well equiped and has enough room for six cars if it was tidy.
I have also been making biodiesel for five years and have covered a good 70k miles on it in various cars.
