Nothing wrong with that at all, I done for a little over four and a half years but in Baghdad.
Welcome along mate, I have a load of mates out there both contractracting and FCO type work. Are you on the one year with optional secend year posting?
Do you have Armour Group "looking after you"? Pretty much all my old team are with them out there these days.

One thing i'd quite like to to that.
Had a change to do some work in Iraq, Would have gone for it if i hadn't changed jobs before hand.
I now work for HM Gov in the UK, With the plan to move into doing overseas deployments in a few years.
Just remember, When you get back, Have sorted the Mrs, You can unwind under the 'Rover wondering why there are more oil puddles since you left...

Sorry Fur Trapper maybe I didn't word it correctly, I don't do it any more. I done tours with the army in 2003 and started the private security Jan 2004 and stayed until Oct 2008. I now have an even more dangerous job ploughing through London on a motorbike!! But Thanks as it's great to see our guys getting some support!!!
