so lessons number 1 and number 2 in one day, repairs are part of having a green oval on the front of your motor. Stick with the forum, there are some great people who will answer any questions, (unless they have been asked 400 million times before in which case you will get abused)but like the other guys say. you will learn a lot! glad you got home ok.It is.
And yeah, that would be great, but first some repairs!
Well done for showin yer face YA fookin Muppet!!
I subscribe firmly to the belief that 'today's news is tomorrows chip paper' - although I suspect it will take ever-so-slightly more than a day for this to blow over!
Tis a nice Series, take Spydies and Lee's advice and you might get to keep it and she'll do ya proud

thanks, i am a muppet aren't i!
The pictures as usual don't do it justice, literally sideways at the bottom of a ditch, trees both sides with no direct access for a tow recovery, must have taken quite a few shunts to get into that position as it was 90 degrees to his entry point. I think that's what probably killed the clutch trying to get out. Had no choice but to drag the front end sideways up the banking, luckily no damage caused in doing so.
Hmm... Time to sleep me thinks.
Goodnight all, am pleased I have the option to be sleeping at home! Several times this afternoon I imagined I'd be overnighting it in the landie!
Sign up to lzir and you may be able to return the favour
'Return the favour' does imply pulling Lee or Syder out of a ditch someday - which of course, I'd be more than willing to do - but it is I imagine... Unlikely.
However I am keen to 'Pay it Forward' - which is probably a more realistic likelihood.
Again, GN.
I'm a bit knackered out, left home at 08:30, laning all day in Essex, got the call to rescue on the way home, then picked up some tyres in Kettering with Leebastard after that, no idea how many miles I've done today, but it's a lot.
Feel alright after a decent sleep, fortunately I've got decent seats in the Series.Bet youll be feeling it today. you had fun though!!!!!

Definitely, I wouldn't mind a trip to Whaddon sometime either. I'm going to the LR show at Peterborough in 2 weeks time, but apart from that my weekends are pretty free.Ill be out in a couple of weeks. Maybe pay and play somewhere. Are you up for that
