Hi Everybody

Hi Yall

Peeps I am at the end of my tether with my 95 4.0 se Rangy, I changed the battery and I am now getting the messagw"ENGINE DISABLED PRESS REMOTE OR ENTER CODE".
I have tried re-synching the fob about 10 different ways suggested on various other less reputable forums but nothing seems to work.
I do not have an Emergency Key Access Code, did not come with the car when bought 2nd hand.
I have tried the overide code 1515 but that don't work either.

I don't have much hair to begin with and I am ripping the rest out over this problem.
I had the BECM re-programmed about 6 months ago and all was fantastic until changed battery yesterday.

CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE.

I had the same problem with my 95' p38. I had the AA out and they messed about for at least an hour with no joy! So got a Auto-Locksmith out after explaining what the problem was, but after about half an hour he gave up! He said Main Dealer was the only thing left!!!
So i put the car on charge and with it still plugged in pressed the key button and hey-presto, all was back to normal.
