Hey everyone,
hope you don't mind a landy virgin amongst you!
I am hoping to buy my first one very soon, (In May if I can find a good one!) I know what I want kind of, but don't know them that well so not sure if I need to be avoiding certain models/ages/engines etc.
I want an older style one, would love ex military, not sure if thats a good idea or not. Needs to have rear seats with belts for small people, or at least 3 seats in the front. Are rag tops good? Or are they a bit of a nightmare on a normal British day in the West Country?? I don't care if she is a bit battered or painted by hand, all adds to the character in my eyes, or should I be worried???
So tips from all of you have know what you are talking about - am getting pretty desperate for one now, but don't want to end up with a dog!
