i was giving the car a service. I put new fuel filter on and added in fuel filter diesel clean up (Wynns proffesional formula) I down all what it said on the can to exact. and now everytime i press the excelerater down i am geti a whistling noise my friend says when i was driving behind him at 50 mph it sounds abit like a siren ?I have driven it over 500 miles and the noise is still there . I am not losing any power or water just dont know what it is? any advice i would be very grateful thanks :mad:

thar'll be a td"4" then
its probly yer turbo thats whistlin, unless yer got a small split in one of the intercooler hoses an yer dunt realise it. but that would show with a loss of power .

The freelander bits a bit further down the page !;)
