Hi all - A quick intro from me

I have finally taken the plunge and bought one - after years of being sensible and staying away from what I knew would be a money and time pit I now have the beast in my drive. I'm keen to make it work properly and am quite practical and engineering minded - however I will shy away from the difficult jobs and pass the problem to a local mechanic - bit of a cop out I know - but then I value my Time, Knuckles and Marriage - in that order ;-)

I've just got hold of a 1999 TD5 County Station Wagon. Only had it about 4 weeks and am sorting out the essentials. Next jobs on the list are a new clutch master cylinder as this seems to be leaking and a replacement rear door - as this one is shot to pieces.
