hi all 3 series project

hi all thought id come on here as im after a bit of help ive been given a ex military 3 series land rover .

and were looking at doing an engine transfer as the 2.25 4cylinder isnt pokey enough for what we want.

what engines are compatible with this model and what is the most commononly used?

is there any good websites that we can use to for parts .

look in the injuns section - any of those will fit, and lots more besides.

wot do yu want it to do?

me and my mate usualy convert mini's so we thought wed take on a new project , weve got it for a laugh, we want something which is going to give it a bit extra power so we can take it cross country and drive it on the roads with getting over taken by robin reliants .
