HHO...has anyone dabbled with it yet?

it's real! look up 'HYDROGEN ENGINE' on YouTube for a series of 10 clips explaining the principles of running a hydrogen engine. Same applies for HHO gas. Also check out 'HYDROGeN TAP' for details of one of the best DIY HHO cell designs.

Stainless steel plates act as electrodes with a bicarb soda and water lye/ solution. when a current is applied to the electrodes hho gas bubbles to the surface ready to be collected. it just expands along a tube thru another cannister of water to act as a bubbler (any back flame can then be extinguished via the water as the ignition wont get back along the system- so prevents blowing up your cell.) The other end of the pipe tis then branched off via a small manifold to release the gas as close to the inlet ports as possible.
HHO gas encourages clean and total burn of fuel - resulting in reduced emissions + improved performance + improved fuel economy + reduced internal stresses and temperatures.

Gonna start building mine asap.

To put it kindly, and not wanting to hurt your feelings more than necessary, you are an ignorant and gullible fool, with no science. That's not to say you are of low intelligence - just that you are uneducated, which is not the same thing. We will find ouit about your probable intelligence in due course. Intelligent people are capable of learning - fools tend not to be.

I could forgive you for being foolish and for being ignorant, and for having no understanding of the most basic principles of science, but what I can NOT forgive you for is being so supremely stupid that you will not accept your obvious shortcomings, your lack of scientific understanding, and that you will not accept the countless instances of good advice given on this very forum, showing you (and everyone else) that this whole HHO thing is a SCAM, based on scientific nonsenses, more or less offering the Philospher's Stone, but instead of promising to turn lead into gold, these thieves are promising to turn water into fuel.

First, there is NO SUCH SUBSTANCE as HHO gas, or "Brown's Gas". It's a SCAM, on about the same level as a computer virus, but a lot less clever.

You can NEVER get more energy OUT of a process that you have put IN.

If you could, you would have created a perpetual motion machine.

Electrolysis of water requires ENERGY INPUT, in this case electricity. That electricity is made by using energy from the FUEL the engine burns. This is an inefficient process. You will put IN about 3 to 4 times as much energy as you will get out, even in perfect circumstances.

3. In a motor vehicle situation the amount of hydrogen gas that could be produced by any scheme like this is so small that it can have no measurable effect on the performance of the engine, AND it will waste more fuel than it saves.

4. Any claimed improvements are either outright LIES, or as the result of people altering their driving styles. Just driving 5 - 10 mph slower, and more carefully, can reduce fuel consumption dramatically. My Disco TD5 gives me 28 - 30 mpg cruising 70-ish, but well over 40 mpg cruising 55-56 mph.

Be told, and stop wasting space on the forum.

But no, so I treated him gently. If Mr Slob had got in first, he would have been less tolerant, less understanding, more blunt.

There's more inflammable gas in a French frog's fart than ever will appear from a bottle of water and two wires under your bonnet.

no! no! i think its a great idea and i'm sure car (lets see if i can spell this in a tugumafu kinda way?) manyoufaktoers will be taking this up in droves. ave now got two 1 litre bottles of water under my bonnet and my car now travels further and faster than it did last week, and i'm serious about this. i'm thinking about putting a smaller bottle of water into my kettle to see if the extra energy will make it boil it faster and therefore not have to wait so long fer me coffee.
perhaps we should email NASA as am sure an extra litre or two of water will help them escape erff atmosphere using less of the expensive and highly explosive rocket fuel.

P.S me car had its rear end orf last week so it dint go nowhere nor travel at any great speed. so after i put it back together again i installed the water bottles and it now travels much better than it did this time last week.
 
well, since doin same, i gotta stop every 20mins or so to empty fuel from me tank coz its now MAKING fuel insted o using it.
