Hello Zx128k,

Did you once own a spectrum?

Td5 or V8?

Welcome to the loonyzone.

I cannot resist...I must say it.............. Have you got your EKA code???.......:p...I feel better now....

Cheers

Hi yea I did, spent 2 years of my life playing target renegade,

It's a td5

I have a bit of card with a 4 digit number on and some other code,is that it?

If the card says EKA code, then yes.

Make sure your door lock works with the key, they can seize up and try to use it, destructions for it are in the manual.

Cheers

Na doesn't say Eka code, just a 4 digit no and a barcode, then a long numbers and letters underneath with barcode, suppose that's maybe radio code.

Rightio.

The card I am on about is the security card, it is a credit card sized thing. Will say Emergency Key Access on it.

Cheers

Ok,no defo don't have that,I know the last owner has had it since 2005, I'll ask him if it's lying about,I have both keys and other documents.

I'll have a look at the locks tomorrow, check they are free.

Cheers.

If the card you mentioned had a 6 digit alphanumeric number on it then I would say it was the original key fob coding card. The number should match the number printed on a white label inside the key fob on a chip. The EKA code can also be alphanumeric as it is a hexadecimal code, sounds cool just means you have to turn the key more times to enter the code.

Have a look here ( alarm issues) if you cannot get the EKA code. it will explain ways you can get it, as long as the PO has not had it changed.
