We'll discuss it at the meeting, but I might leave home a bit earlier on Saturday morning to try and miss the traffic. Ryder, you'll probably still be in bed when I get there.;)

Sorry I was a little bit ****ed when you called last night... conversation must have seemed a little wobbly. (It was half past vodka at the time!)
 
Just in case you have forgotten, we'll be meeting up tomorrow night to have a chin wag about being something like organised for Salisbury.

Apart from that it will be good to get together and catch up over a swift shandy. Time and venue as per PM. Apologies from Discobasher and Gibbo Phil - they are excused this time, don't do it again;) :D

Salisbury is go!!

In case you didn't know we are gonna do a trip to Salisbury, the numbers have grown a bit, we think it will be at least 16 cars not the original 10 but it's gonna be a great party.

Thanks everyone who turned up at the pub, here's the result:

I will PM various details later on but here's the bits we think you need to be checkin' afore ye go.

Food - There ain't none on the way down and there ain't gonna be a pub stop in the middle of the day, so make sure you bring stuff to eat on Saturday. Don't forget to bring stuff to drink as well.

Beer - Bring your own. Saturday night, BBQ requires beer. Bring along what you drink. A case should be plenty unless you get a real thirst on!

BBQ - no point in everybody bringing a BBQ. I'm guessin we'll only need 3, maybe 4. Let me know if you are bringing BBQ. What you eat is what you bring!!

Camping - As far as we know, there are sufficient pitches already booked, if in doubt contact camp site and make your own booking. Facilities are limited but toilet and shower available (unconfirmed!!). No indication of restrictions on fires/BBQ's. No you may not burn the Frontera!

Recovery points - get under your mota and check you got good recovery points. It ain't unknown for recovery points to come off coz they ain't done up or they rusted through and we don't want bits fallin orf. Seriously, check your recovery points, check your ropes/shackles/straps and stuff, make sure it is in an acceptable condition. Same for tyres.

Torches - Bring torches you can be fairly sure you'll need one. Make sure it has good batteries or at least make sure it's charged.

Chuck 5 litres or more of water in the back and a cloth/rag or whatever just in case you need to clean your lights/number plate/windows.

I think that was pretty much it, the other bits I will send by PM but sad as it may seem here is the disclaimer:

I think you should all be reminded you are driving at your own risk on your own insurance don't look here or anywhere else if you crash/get arrested/break down or otherwise suffer a misfortune it is down to you.

ps i forgot to mention last night ill try and get the other half to help put together a decent first aid kit see what she thinks we need. Probably get some sarky comment from her something like (with you about I reckon a full time heli on stand bye and a couple of litres of morphine) but its best to be prepared ish Jai
 
I've got a First Aid Kit and know how to use it, or at least that's what the certificate says.
Well done for last night Kev, Looks like you've got the job.
