Hey Kris... you didn't even get a little bit stuck! Now I am seriously.. jealous... looking at yours thinking: " what can I do to measure up to this disco!"

I have a few photos of you cruising merrily through some deeper water and also one or two of your daughter playing with Kai... (well putting my tent up with Kai but you know what they say about employing kids!)

Glad Dan got home OK. He may have dubious choice of vehicles but he has good judgement in.... welll I guess he has good judgement in something!

BTW sorted the Rangie, a damaged seal let a bit of water into the bearings on the back wheel, no biggie - all fixed but suspect oil change on both axles is going to be a wise move this weekend coming.

Heard from Glen321 today, I think he enjoyed himself. Anybody heard from
Kris300TDI? Saw one of the Rangey boys on the road today, I swear he was still smiling.

Leonberger, thanks for the thought. I didn't really organise that much, just pointed people in the right direction and let the magic happen. I would say though that another pub meet would be nice, I'll give it some thought. Anybody have thoughts on that idea?

I'd be well up for another pub meet, any chance at doing it at the same pub we were at last time as that was not that bad too get to for me after work.
 
Rose here, had a great weekend outing...the kids really enjoyed themselves too. The weekends fun is thanks to Ratty and RobinT a well thought out foray into the plains delights. I am sure that without your guidance we would have really gotten into trouble with the local army guys....sorry that perhaps the Rangey guys went off track and peed them off.....not Kev included obviously. Phill has been turned over the weekend and is now looking at an defender........good work there.....job done! Chris has the ok for a lift if he works hard enough to afford it lol. I still love my shogun though..... thinking about giving it a lift and getting some big tyres just for the weekends. Just like to be different lol! Maybe before then I will get to drive the landy and be converted......tried before but got spooked on country lanes passing other cars...the landy just seemed too wide....must give it another go!

I tried driving our landy last week, can drive it but can't get used to the width , maybe after the suspension has been sorted I will be fine, town driving should be fine, but we live out in a village so I got spokked by the oncoming tractors on my first try. Will try again though.

I must get my engine diesel pump timing sorted. It's so painfully slow, it's very frustrating. I was well happy with it's performance off-road though. I only got stuck once and that was because I was trying the route that Jai had just got stuck in. I recon with a sorted engine I would have made it through there.
I'm going to try and get the diesel specialist that Jai recommended to sort the timing for me and then hopefully give 40 foot another go before it shuts for the winter, maybe Ashwell too.

I will have a shufty through to see what other stills I have. i have just finished the video. I am on a mobile connection in my truck at the moment so will download it onto youtube when I get up tomorrow afternoon. It is just short of 11 mins long so you better make a brew and go to the toilet before watching it.;)

Morning spyderman.

I'm just downloading all the pics with the spydiemobile onto photobucket now. I don't have any stills of dafts watering hole though I am afraid. I do have some of the mud hole though. :D

Youtube is down for maintenance at the moment too so I can't even download the video.:mad: :mad: :mad:

Jai, I tracked down that Diesel specialist you told me about in Luton. I'll take it down to see them, once I've got it clean. Their website looks like they know what they're doing and certainly got all of the required kit.:D Just a case of how much to sort it.:eek:

I know that feeling. I have nothing of my new landy so if anyones got any piccies of it nows the time to post em.;)

When the vid does finally get onto youtube, your water splash is about 1 min in and then a half speed one at the end too just to put a bigger grin on your face.:p
