my bitsa is still on the "candles", it's used offroad and as a daily driver at all times of the year day or night, keep the lenses clean and aimed properly and they work quite well (don't forget to clean your windscreen)

with the overdrive my bitsa will clear 80mph and usually is travelling at 60-65mph

my old 750/4 sohc Honda motorcycle (and most of the others from the 70s) only had sealed beam or old style bulbs fitted and most of those were capable of over 100mph and used to thier top speeds

i'm not saying there isn't better and i'm not saying that there might not be more hazards on the roads nowadays, these lights are what i grew up with and driven sensibly using them and concentrating they are sufficient, poor aim and dirty lenses along with poor concentration are way worse than these lights ;)

Just read this from the 1st page and fairplay to you pal, as said before this is such a cool first car! And even better that its not some financed corsa/polo etc. Looks so much better now its painted, looks mean.
And i know its abit random but i see you posted that you had a 2.25d as an option, just wondering if you happen to still have it and if you want to sell it?
Keep up the good work :)

YOU DID WHAT? Many of blood sweat and tears literary. The youth today LOL:beer2:
I passed my dad my winch to put in my front bumper and the free spool handle need some attention as the bolt that holds it in is broke so as I passed it him over he grabs the free spool handle it comes off so I garb the winch as it's falling to only trap my finger between winch and bumper
