can some1 help me with my defender 200 when im going over 50 mph it starts to rumble iv taken the props of and the ujs are ok the brake drum turns about 6 in before it grabs hold in the trasfer box please help me if you can

HAve you changed or done anything to the vehicle which may have caused this? been offroad? laneing? Could be a number of things. How bad is the vibration? do you do alot of towing?

Could be: tracking? bend track rod? uneven tyre wear? **** tyres? Swivel pin pre-load? Wheel bearings? CV joints? Transfer box cam worn? propshafts not reassembled correctly? wheels not balanced correctly?

some of those are more likely than others, but its a bit of an open question without eliminating things.

it seems to do it when you let power off its not doing it under 50

Slack in the transmission somewhere then. Transfer box input/output bearings? how are they looking?
