so you would go for the green one?wouldnt have been my first choice in that its been used for towing plant and ace pipes are flaky, but you can only get whats around and for a price, id change gear box oil several times if its dirty once if its clean
Yeah took it down to my local lr mechanic!
Think you've been watching to much Judge Rinderpersonally, if i bought this Monday and the HG went Tuesday, im afraid i would be ringing the people up to return it
and if no joy county court, because your not telling me they did not notice this before they sold it
and you cant just sell a car now and think thats the end of it, if it goes tits up its tuff, it doesn't work like that anymore
unless you bought it from friends or you have been told it may have HG problems on the day
Nothing wrong with autos......
Mine has done 160,000 with no problems (other than losing all its oil through the cooler pipe once).
okay so I have looked at the 52 plate today. Loads of work done including re con engine. Up graded brakes. etc etc
ACE pipe needs replacing, bit tatty but will polish up, leaking sunroof and a couple of bits need replacing which he has supplied. Chassis has been welded.
The green one I made an offer yesterday but some one else beat me on the price, they have now offered it to me if I want it?
AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGH
Thoughts please
Well that was fun owning a TD5, purchase it on Saturday, head gasket went on Monday sold for scrap on Tuesday.
I think me and the green oval are not getting on together at the moment.
