Hi everyone,
I bought a Freelander last september (secondhand) and it has been a dream - I love it!!!
The only problem I have had is I put it into Hill Decent Control once and now the TC, ABS and HDC warning lights have come on on the dashboard and wont go off!!!!

If anyone has any idea as to what the problem might be and how much it will cost to fix it please let me know.

Much appreciated.

Kylie

Gaylander not a dream Nightmare.
Have you taken the hairdryer/curling tongs out of the fag lighter?
Don`t you think the lights look pretty then.
I would say why would you need that function for dropping off a kirb?

Vinniejb,
I came on here as it was recommend if you were looking for helpful advice.
Your stereotypical and pathetic comments are far from helpful.

Other readers of this post - I am only looking for some advice about my car.
Please only reply if you have helpful comments to make. Thanks

Kylie,

Firstly, welcome. :welcome2:

I know nothing of Freelanders, except that this 'three amigo' question comes up regularly. If you use the search facility you will see that their is lots of help already provided, of you still can't find an answer then try the Freelander section on here :)

Vinniejb is following a tradition of taking the 'mick' out of Freelander drivers on this forum - it is always intended as light hearted fun. Unfortunately on this occasion, it comes across as a real smack in the teeth - a) because of gender stereotype - b) because you are new and c) because he is clearly a nob. :D

Anyway, have a search - there are many Freelander owners on here who will get back to you.

Ease up dude....

You will soon learn that ownig a Land Rover entails you mixing with some very odd people, often times with weird senses of humour.....

Stick with it and you will get the answers you require, but we all have to suffer mild ribbing every now and then, it is part of the Land Rover life....

Also this is the Welcome section...so say hi, then pop off to the relevant Vehicle Help section and post specifics in there:

1. You will get a better response
and
2. A little less ribbing (but only if yer lucky):D

Good Morning:eek::eek: (he said with head hung in shame):eek:
Taking the "mick" "banter" is Institutionalised on this platform.
DM is quite right, on all 3 counts. As for Point A-B This has no place in todays forward thinking society, and C I am indeed a NOB.

Kylie,
I am Sorry if I offened you. :welcome2:
I have had a look for a link for you, the best is here anyway.
If the guys on Freelander section are as good as the Guys on the Disco section then your issue will be sorted out within days or even hours.

Vince

And to all other Gaylanders "Open season has not closed":D:D:D:D

Thank DN for your intervention and explanation of 'forum culture........' and also advice on the Three Amigoes - I have posted under the Freelander section and just waiting to see what I get back.

Vinniejb,
Apology accepted.........just dont need another car going wrong and possibly over reacted.....then again I am a highly strung over emotional and hormonal woman :5bwilly_nilly:

Saint.V8........I am not a 'dude'........

Well that all good then! Some say i am a niceguy:) then some tell the truth:D:D:D:D

Frustration goes hand in hand with owning DROVERS. So what type do you have, do you use it off road much, got any pics?

If you can stick the abuse, it's not a bad place at all. Vinnie mean't well, it's just the way he wuz brought up I suspect :D

(Well done Vince, wot a nice bloke :))

I must admit that I dont do a lot of off roading as where we live is very, very, very flat! the most I go 'off road' is taking my husband fishing and the track to the lake can be a bit dodgy at times..........but it is not a Chelsea Tracktor!!!!!

I think I have attached a photo of my car but not 100% sure.......
