yep mine was like that put up with it on gas then got a obd bluetooth adaptor and my android phone off fleabay eliminated the fault codes hey presto no probs. the code was a faulty labda on bank 1 did it once more but for three months now no probs so i would try that first . mine would not rev up ,back fire if u tried to force it on and used more fuel than anything so if u know some one with a good fault code reader get them to read the codes write them down erase them then try it for a few weeks then read them again. u can read what the engine is doing whilst on the road if u get someone else to drive thats what l did

Well I have solved the problem after p@@@ing about looking at other things I went under the car to find that Monarch Automotive of Peterborough had not even touched the crank sensor it was coated in oil I purchased a new sensor for £49 fitted it in 30 min (with no ramp or pit) jump started the car and -- it fired first time removed jump leads and ticked over like a dream took the car for a short drive ran perfect tried car off road ran perfect

The moral of this DO NOT use that garage in Peterborough I have sent their MD an email listing everything and I am pursuing a refund for the "work" they did.

my business is now the proud owner of a genuine test book from an land rover dealer that has shut down with all the leads etc plus the owner of the garage has agreed to show me what it can do a result all round

Glad you got it running, good luck with getting a refund
atleast you now have your own diagnostic gear so no more garage bills

Glad you are sorted. I have to say that I have never, with one notable exception, had work done properly, completely and without fault by any garage anywhere, so you aren't alone.

Carpe jugulum.
