Since there seem to be a lot of people on this thread who know f.a. about Land Rovers (and after my earlier post I may have to admit to being one of them) I thought it might help them to distinguish a Series from our beloved Discoveries if I referred to the modern term for a Land Rovery-shaped vehicle, albeit in a post-modern sort of way. Sorry if I upset the purist in you. But actually I don't care very much...
