Hi All,

Going to sell my mum's 2001 Hardtop Jimny. It's only done 16k, FSH etc,
immaculate condition.

What sort of price should I look for? Was hoping for 5-5.5 K.

Any particular place it might sell quicker than others?

TIA

Mike

I think people see the small size and cute styling and think it is
simply a toy. My hardtop version is exceptional off-road, so they
shouldn't mock.

Another couple of inches ground clearance and a 1600cc turbo-diesel and
there'd be little to stop it.

(Actually the engine is the weakest bit. It's a lovely little typically
Japanese high-revving 16V, but it is sadly lacking in torque for a 4x4)

I plan to fit a diesel to mine, that will make it pretty much
unstoppable offroad. Check my car out www.offroadfun.com (I don't sell
anything).

I think the 2L diesel from the Nissal Laurel diesel will fit into an jimneys
engine bay and bolt to the tranny/T-case. I'd check the tranny bolts vs the
engine bolts tho, it may manage to bolt on but being from differant
manuafacturors one or the other may need new holes bored in other places
along the flanges to hold the two together.

In the first place, excuse my poor level of English.

I write from Spain, here all the salespersons of Suzuki have been summoned
for the presentation of the Diesel Jimny, it is about to leave to the
market.

Merry Christmas

Thanks, I knew a diesel version was coming, although I gather it's only
a 1200cc turbo. (Is this true?)

If it is then the same criticisms I have of my own 1300cc 16V petrol
will be equally valid.

It needs at least a 1400cc turbo, and preferably a 1600cc.

A diesel Jimny,eh?It's too bad the Jimny isn't offered here in the US.I
would love to get my hands on one especially a diesel version.

You'd never find a Jimny in the car park over in the USA. All those
mega-SUVs would dwarf it!

And being a "NASTY POLLUTION CAUSING 4x4" the econobox buyers whom it might
bo of a size for would never get it.
