Help, just changed the camshaft left hand non timing end seals.
It would appear in the past a previous person has not put the cover plate back and only the right angle bracket on the rear cam. This means a small area of the cam end is open.
Am I going mad or should there be a cover plate then the bracket?
If so by some miracle does anyone have on laying about or an old scrap K series engine?
Cant imagine I will get one from a salvage yard.
This thing is costing a fortune. We are now about 2 months in, so far
2 slave / master clutch units (fitting out with a parts supplier over one)
One clutch
New rocker cover gasket
Cam seal non timing end
Rear exhaust
VC coupling and bearings
Think I will be homeless at this rate if the car doesn't drive soon.
Sorry if this is in the wrong place.:lalala:![Confused  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
