I think Andy may have been alluding to the fact the L322 doesn't have a TDV6 variant. TD6 or TDV8 for the diesels. Or I could be wrong and he wasn't
I was just confirming is all.....

Talk to @Bemble first! Or @jamesmartin as he's another guru with boxes. The number of times we've heard new gearbox is unreal. Or refurbed and they don't fix the thing that is causing the issue in the first place.
How long have you had the car and where did you get it from? Engine and gearbox should be covered for at least 6 months if bought from a trade seller as it is European law and the UK didn't opt out of that one.

If you put an @ before Bembles name it should highlight to a green colour, like this....... @Bemble , he will receive a notification to check this thread,

Have to get the box out and that is not easy without a ramp. And back in again. What's the book time? 6 hours? double that for yourself.

All the years I've had range rovers, My L322 x 3 gearbox's by the time it reached 100k , My discovery 3 x 1 gearbox @ 140k
If anyone is going to repair get Bemble to do it, no matter how much you have to bribe him. My L322 was never correct after the first rebuild.
They're a friggin nightmare.
