I have a problem starting my Freelander TD4 on frosty morning. Battery supplier has checked battery and shows no faults., mechanic has checked battery when on vehicle, shows no sign of battery drop. On frosty morning I try to start it and there's nothing apart from a clip, remove battery, put on charge, within 10 minutes showing full charge, replace, starts as soon as key is turned. Usually OK stopping and starting for the rest of the day.
Park up at night, if its frosty next morning - same again if not starts fine.
Replaced battery last winter (frosty weather) had no problems.
Now with the two frost's we have had problem has returned, garage suggests just renewing battery before each winter, but could do without shelling out £75.00 each year for a existing battery that's showing no signs of trouble.
Any help much appreciated.
