After camshaft, rockers and cambelt replacement in February on my 2008 Freelander 2. I have encountered excessive vibration in the seats and steering wheel. Noticeable more at traffic lights etc in neutral. When I lift the bonnet the engine is definitely vibrating. My mechanic has since replaced 3 engine mounts, but it hasn’t solved the issue. I’m at a loss and so is my mechanic. Any ideas please would be grateful as it is doing my head in. I am going to try some injector cleaner in the morning after reading similar previous posts.

thanks for the replies, also it’s worth noting two other things. When accelerating in first gear the engine now sounds so loud like a grunt. When I turn the engine off it makes a noise it didn’t make before. Would you know if these two would point to timing tooth, injector or crank shaft? The car performs well though at speed, no loss of power on the motorway.

Timing one tooth out, or a dodgy injector

Hi all, an update on the below - So my freelander
2 has been in for a full diagnostics and once over, plus an MOT. The only thing my mechanic can find is a couple of sun frame bushes that have abit of play, could this cause the below?
