HELP NEEDED!! no power to injectors

I have recently put the 3.9 efi in my 1988 defender 90 but am struggling to wire it up? I have got the existing loom for starter, coil, alternator and oil. this is all working fine as you would expect but for the efi loom I dont really know what to do? I have tried following the instructions from here for other peoples problems but the colour wires are different as they refer to a rrc my engine came out of a disco 94, with air con immobliser and all the gubbins so have a lot of wire that look like spegtti junction lol. someone said that the injectors work off a SWITCHED GROUND NOT LIVE is this true and does anyone know the bare min wires i need to connect to kick her into life. I have fuel pump working coil working starter working. i have cranked it over but no fuel getting to plugs???????

what ECU do you have The Lucas 14CU 'hot wire' airmass system OR the earlier 'moving flap' airflow system 4CU ECU.

its the hot wire system but i have kicked her into life now.

try Rover 14CUX Hot Wire Mass Flow EFI: Service and Troubleshooting may have info you require

i am having the exact same problem no power it the injects what could this be please
