Well the bodge made it home, me my partner the 2 dogs and the caravan all home safe.

Water was pooring out of the little hole on the underside of the water pump, removed aux belt and pullys to get the water pump off filled the hole with, "Q bond" and it lasted to get us home,

Ps q bond I hve used to fix kawaks rad, ( lasted 2 week) used it to stick my wing mirror back on the defender when I broke the arm off roading. Fixed the awning on the caravan, and lots of other little bits, well worth the £12 and I still have some left.

just for reference, a no8x1/2 screw, a red rawl plug and a healthy wrap of ptfe tape (plumbers tape for everything.....) in the hole from the underside lasts at least 2 weeks till the pumps changed.
and doesn't require removal of pump!
