I have a problem with my freelander can anyone help. when i put the key in the ignition and turn it there are no ignition lights and it wont start. Then all of a sudden the ignition lights come back on and the car starts. Then i can be driving along put on the indicator and everything cuts out all the electrics and the engine. Sometimes it may then start straight away soemtimes it won't. it has been to the garage a number of times and they have not rectified this problem yet. but it never happens when it is in the garage so the mechanics havnt experienced the problem. i fear it os posessed what am i to do? Has anyone else had anything like this?

the freds bin moved from the general q's and answers section to the hippoo section.
I had a similar prob - was found to be corroded contacts under the fuse box.

yes i agree wiff flop man. . . .also check yer fuses [not good connection] if all this fails then you could have a wiring problem [melted or chaffed cables in loom] hard one to find, but best place to look would be the steering loom [yer got indicators un ingnition circuits together in their]. . . .:)
