I have recently bougt a 1993 Vogue LSE, as you expect there are a few problems most of which I have now sorted out, mainly with suspension and steering.

The problem is the front offside is just over 1" lower than the nearside giving a distinct lean on the car at the front only.

The air suspension was converted last year by nene overland to springs.

I have changed the front springs and shocks all round, replaced the panhard rod bush - which solved the bump steer problem

I am puzzled by this problem which makes the car very interesting to drive when the camber of the road is leaning down on the right as it makes the car feel as if it is nearly going to fall over sometimes, particularly if you hit a pothole or when traveling along the grooves in the road left by lorries on well used roads.

I really would appreciate some help with this problem, I have been able to find all the answers I have needed over the last few years on this forum without needing to post before as the answers were already there!

Lets hope someone can help with this and make my driving safer

Eric

wheels and tyres are brand new and all the same.

just a thought, although the bushes on the radius arms dont seem to have any play in them, although they do look old and are probably original, is there any way they could produce this problem? seems a bit far fetched but I need to fix this quick and am getting desperate.

why have you ruined a good car by fitting bloody coils on it  .
when fitting coil spring to a rangerover am sure ( although not 100% ) that they have to be fitted in the correct location i.e n/s/f coil to n/s/f ect , ect.
to compensate for road camber and the like , it may be the n/s and o/s have got mixed up  .
rick.

it had already been done when I bought it, but it is such a good car otherwise that I decieded to buy it.

Both springs are exactly the same length and power, if you measure the spring lengths when the cars weight is on them they are the same length!

So it is not the springs that are the problem

has one got a thicker seat than the other?
i know its obvious but theres nothing else i can think of without actually looking for differences

what about the spring mountings are they both welded on in the right place , i presume that your measuring from the ground to the bottom of the wheel arch.
it may also be an idea to check the rears as well .
i have had trucks in the past were one side at the front is low and fitting 2 new spring has not made a spot of difference due to the fact the problem has been a rear spring .
what is the hieght difference between the front bump stop and the chassis ?
