thanks James but as i mentioned above i already have both the Green Land rover Manual and the Haynes manual and i read them both cover to cover i did that before touching anything. i was just wondering if there were any useful threads out there as i am not a mechanic and this is my first attempt at any kind of vehicle and some of the terms used can be confusing but i am getting there slowly but surely with the help of google and forums like this one. It wont be done over night but eventually i am confident i will have it fully restored and running.
