HELP!! Fuel Pump Starting Problem in RR 97 DSE Auto

Can anyone help me, have had my darling Range Rover 97 2.5 DSE Auto (BMW) for 3 years ,all has been fine untill recently hard to start both hot and cold and over revs through gear changes. Reconditioned Fuel Pump fitted last week but hasn't made a difference. My husband now wants to sell her as it is begining to become to costly can anyone help as I luv this car more than any other car I'v ever had .

The timing may be out, or if it has a mechanical fuel injector pump check the wires that connect to it to see if they may be corroded
