my landrover discovery ( L reg ) has suddenly had a total light faliure! NO SIDE LIGHTS, NO DIPPED BEAM , NO FULL BEAM i have checked the fuses and they are ok. i cant seem to locate the relays? i have only just purchased this vehicle! any one please help!

well, id thought of that. but when you test the fuse board neither side shows 12v on all four lighting fuses. where are the relays located?

It could be the fusible links corroded away on the rh inner wing. They are part of the loom and run from behind the battery back through the bulkhead.Often happens on cars where the inner wing is rotted through and water and salt get in and rot them.

Have you checked the fuses under the bonnet too?

Failing that im not sure on the location of relays, ive got a 300 series manual i shall have a look, i might get lucky.
