Hiya,
Thought I should probably introduce myself and more importantly my big metal toy - a 1985 ex MOD Ninety (2.5 Diesel):
Actually bought it last year but have only recently had enough time to get to work on getting it on the road. So far fitted all knew shocks and springs, rebuilt all the brakes and given the engine a thorough service. Also sourced the missing MOD roll bar, hood and sticks. Engine gearbox and steering feel good and it drives really nicely apart from a bit of a squeal when the clutch is depressed which I'm guessing could be the release bearing (?). Chassis appears remarkably solid for its age. Other than that there are a myriad of electrical issues which I'm slowly working though, hoping to get some guidance on that front on here!
This is my first entry into landrover ownership althought I've wanted one for a long time after doing a road trip in one identical to mine a few years back. Looking forward to learning from everyone else on here!
