So basically what you are telling us is that because you read an over exaggerated story on the internet you won't buy a Land Rover?

Oh an BTW go search out some horror stories on BMWs, Audi's, Porsche, Ford etc, then take the bus, while you're on the bus, take out your smart phone and google bus horror stories and get on your bike, while you're on your break at work google cycling horror stories and then walk everywhere, when you eventually get where you are going take out your smart phone again and google horror stories for walkers and you'll never leave your house :p

See ya.

Darn it,,

I just read that site..............we are all doomed, I am off to sell my 2 beasties..VW's for me in the future.

Cheers

So what happened to your other promising looking purchase from your earlier posts?
Don’t give up so soon, as said look at others manufacturers problems and to be honest a lot of those problems in that blog thing are stupid and self inflicted. You dont need to be a mechanic. You need some common sense a bit of aptitude for using a spanner and listening to advice, when you ask. or a healthy wallet:rolleyes:

What ever you want to believe, but if your gonna give up this quick then you probably aren’t suited to a LR anyway.

I panic every time I go under mine...… Rust...…...we are all doomed.....
You can find whatever you want on the internet..... search loose o ring on a washing machine//human/landrover they will all come up as flawed.

I have never owned an Alfa... but everyone driving person says you have to own one... shockingly bad for leaving you at the side of the road apparently but a dream to drive.

Alfa Sud?

Maybe what you should do is go find one for sale and take it for a test drive to see if you actually like driving them, and if you do, then go back with a Landy friend and get them to check it out from roof to chassis.

Think of them as a life long hobby/addiction. Landy owners will grumble, complain and swear about their pride and joys but are never happier than when having to sigh over getting underneath with spanner in hand. You never know, the inner mech in you may be waiting for just this moment. Certainly, a latent tinkering gene is always helpful.
