Hello
I have been an admirer of range rover for years and years and I have decided to take the plunge and get one. However with kids, wife and kids with an interest in ponies I am interested in getting a 1970's chassis and building it up with a more modern range rover body/engine/gearbox, preferably a model from 1996 onwards. I wish to get the advantage of classic testing exemption with the benefit of a more modern range rover. I first need to know if this is possible, then to find out where I can get a chassis properly dipped and thereafter the fun begins. I would prefer a 4 door.
I am feeling a little (lot) out of my depth in this quest. I hope this forum is the way to go.
