Hi all :)

Just wanted to introduce myself. I have a Freelander XEi purchased Sept 04 and it's my third one :p

I have a horse and 2 dogs so it's ideal for my lifestyle.

Welcome to the forum Jenny W,
you must like the old freelanders then? How do you find it in the reliabilty stakes? A few owners have had some problems going by the posts in the freelander section.

Hi Fishface. My car's only a year old - is that considered an "oldie" or were you confused as to how old my car was :p

Just re-read your post. Perhaps you meant coz I'd had 2 in the past I must like them? My first one was purchased in 2001 - it was a tdi, then I upgraded to the Serengeti (sp?) 18 months later. Never had a problem with either of them. Perhaps I was lucky.

Yep, cos you've had a couple in the past. My girlfriend likes the look of the Freelander but I'm still not sold on them. I like my 4x4's to look like they could go where my Discovery (and 2 Range Rovers in the past) have been! Maybe when we get some spare cash and they come down in price a bit, I'll take one out for a test drive. (bet they won't let me test it down the swamp!!!!)

it was the new design which sold it for me - love the look of the front :D I would like a discovery/range rover (to tow my horse around) but far too expensive for me and I couldn't afford to run one :( oh well, may win the lottery one day.

Jenny I Dont Find My Discovery All That Bad I Get Aruond 28 To 30 Round Town And About 40 On A Run Taking It Nice And Steady Not A Fuel Sipper I Know But A Lot More Than A Friend Who Has A Shougun
